Dr. Kellen Kashiwa, OD

Dr. Kellen Kashiwa is a low-vision specialist and licensed optometrist with expertise in the examination and management of visual impairments that cannot be corrected with standard methods such as eyeglasses, contact lenses, or surgery. He received his Doctor of Optometry degree from Pacific University College of Optometry, where he focused on low vision and retinal disease. In addition to his work at the Bennett Eye Institute as a technician and diagnostic photographer, Dr. Kashiwa has completed internships in Japan and China and has provided optometric care to over 3,000 patients through humanitarian work in the Philippines, Peru, and Nicaragua.
